Description
MD3 Xenon LaserLight integrates two essential elements: tactical illumination and bystander casualty reduction. When the military carries out urban warfare or when SWAT team conducts tactical operation, this integration of the light and laser with the ultra compact cross bolt screw weapon mount reduces the overall form factor. As a 9-volts system, MD3 Xenon LaserLight is a powerful 135-lumen xenon light for greater brightness and longer distance . The light source is protected by an anti-scratch tempered glass lens and is maximally focused at factory for achieving the distance and center brightness. The "flaming heat-sink" design of the head ensures adequate heat dissipation for thermal management of the xenon bulb in lengthening its bulb life and optimizing its performance. The xenon bulb is damped by the internal spring-loaded back-plate deflection mechanism as the lamp assembly is completely isolated from the rest of the light while the batteries are compartmentalized to provide MD3 with excellent performance against weapon recoil. MD3 Xenon LaserLight features an offset red laser for targeting assistance. The laser can be calibrated for windage and elevation with an optional laser bore sight kit. This laser module is easily interchangeable with other optional side pods, including supplemental IR source, low visibility red light, or reduced signature NVG-compatible light. Manufactured by high precision CNC machine from aerospace grade aluminum with anti-abrasive, anti-corrosive, and anti-reflective military spec Type III hard anodized exterior finish, MD3R Xenon LaserLight is rugged and durable for illumination in the most critical environments. The anti-reflective finish reduces glare and minimizes signature in ensuring stealth. MD3R Xenon LaserLight is preconfigured with TR6 brightness controllable remote switch tail-cap. The low setting switch momentarily turns on the light at low light output, just enough for staging and navigation prior to assault. Pressing the pad switches the light on high output. Under duress, pressing both low and high switches turns on the light at high setting. Clicking the constant-on switch turns on the light at high output and stays on. All switches are at finger length distance for easy and instant operation. The independent MTC2 sidepod tail-cap switch easily activates the offset laser and can be placed in constant-on position for calibration. Since the laser is offset from the rail, its tail switch can be easily activated via thumb action when a vertical handgrip is installed. All connections of the primary compartment are sealed with double O-rings for fail-safe protection against water leakage. Each MD3 LaserLight is individually serialized for inventory control. The unit can be easily serviced in the field with an optional Field Maintenance Kit, including the replacement of the front tempered glass lens if it is damaged during an unexpected frontal impact. MD3 Xenon LaserLight is the choice for the military and law enforcement when greater illumination and longer distance with target assistance are both at the top of consideration.
